Rent for the space where your site lives. For a local business page it runs from nothing to $30 a month depending on who built it.
Every page someone opens is served from a server, and hosting is what you pay to keep that server running.
For a one-page site built in plain HTML with no database, hosting costs very little or nothing. When someone charges $30 or $50 a month to host a page like that, they are usually billing maintenance dressed up as hosting.
Always ask what happens to your site if you stop paying the monthly. If the answer is that it disappears, you are renting the site rather than owning it.

Ask in writing what the fee covers and whether the page stays yours when you stop paying it.
