What do missed calls actually cost you?
In home trades, someone who calls and gets no answer calls the next name within two minutes. This puts a dollar figure on what goes out that door in a year.

Count the night and weekend ones too. On emergencies those pay the most and get answered the least.
Nobody leaves a message, they call the next one
The belief is that someone who needs something will keep trying. In trades where twenty options sit one tap away, they do not: they hang up and dial the next result.
Which is why a missed call is never a delayed call. It is a job somebody else is already doing.
What fixes this is usually not a website
Worth being blunt here even though it makes us look bad: if the problem is that you cannot pick up with your hands inside a job, a website fixes nothing.
What fixes it is an answering service, someone taking calls by the hour, or an automatic text that goes out instantly saying when you will call back. All of it costs a lot less than the number above.
The site is for the other thing: so someone who cannot reach you by phone can see you exist, and so more people arrive in the first place. Two different problems.
The message that does win calls back
If you cannot answer, an automatic text sent right away recovers part of it. It has to say three things: that you saw it, when you will call back, and what to do if it is urgent.
A 'calling you back as soon as I finish, text here if it is urgent' holds on to plenty of people who would otherwise already be talking to someone else.
